Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 13, 2026
HyperScore provides an App Store scoreboard app that helps you keep score on your device. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the HyperScore app.
HyperScore limits data collection to what is needed to operate the app, understand feature usage, process purchases, sync referral codes, and display ads.
Information Collection and Use
We do not sell personal information from your use of the HyperScore app.
Scores, game settings, and any other scoreboard activity stay on your device unless a feature in the app clearly tells you otherwise.
Analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve your experience. Firebase Analytics automatically collects app usage data, device information, and app instance identifiers. This may include session duration, screens viewed, app opens, app updates, device model, operating system version, screen size, language, country derived from IP address, and a randomly generated app instance ID that is not tied to your personal identity.
We also log custom events to understand feature usage and improve the app, including matches started, completed, and abandoned; sport type; match duration; scores; templates and themes selected; ad interactions; undo usage; Watch connectivity usage; upgrade sheet views; purchase completions by product ID only; and referral code redemptions.
None of this analytics data is linked to your personal identity. Firebase Analytics uses randomly generated instance IDs, not your name, email, or Apple ID.
Advertising & Tracking
HyperScore uses Google AdMob to display ads. With your permission, we may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to serve personalized ads. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized. No personal data is sold or shared beyond what is necessary for ad serving. You can change your tracking preference at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
HyperScore requests your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before allowing any cross-app tracking. If you decline, ads are served in a non-personalized manner and no cross-app advertising identifier is shared. Analytics data is collected regardless of your App Tracking Transparency choice, but it is never linked to your identity or shared with advertisers.
Analytics and Log Data
HyperScore uses Firebase Analytics for app usage analytics as described above. HyperScore does not use remote logging to collect information about your app usage.

Data Retention
Analytics data is retained by Google Firebase for up to 14 months. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us at usehyperscore@gmail.com. Firebase's instance ID can also be reset by reinstalling the app.
Security
HyperScore does not store app personal information on our servers. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so you should still protect your device with the security features available to you.
Links to Other Sites
HyperScore may contain links to third-party sites, such as App Store pages or support links. We do not operate those third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices. Review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
Children's Privacy
HyperScore is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Firebase Analytics data is anonymous and not linked to any individual.
